Donald Trump or Ted Cruz----What's an Establishment to Do Without Debates?

Dr. Krauthammer said on Special Report last night that the battle between the Establishment and the anti-Establishment is over, the anti-Establishment has won, based on the two remaining candidates who can still mathematically get to the magic number of 1,237 delegates.  The current delegate count has Donald Trump at 678, Cruz at 423, and Kasich at 143, (with no mathematical path to the nomination).

On a special note, Trump put an unofficial end to the debates by refusing to go another round with Fox and the Fox moderators, Wallace, Baier, and Kelly.  With the Kelly File running nightly anti-Trump screeds, it's understandable why Mr. Trump has indicated enough is enough, but this cancellation didn't sit well with the folks at Fox.  In almost a retaliatory mode, Fox arranges an hour-long town-hall with Ted Cruz, (hosted by Hannity), and Bret Baier announces that on Monday's Special Report, they'll have both Cruz and Kasich live on the program. At this posting, I've read nothing about Fox extending any kind of invitation to the Republican front-runner.  Most of you can draw your own conclusions as to how Fox can be a neutral observer going forward, but make no mistake, Fox, (and all of the cable nets), have always been a friend to the Establishment and the status quo political machine in Washington.  After this latest Kelly-Trump kerfuffle, we'll have to see who owns the "obsession" title in the weeks ahead.

Fairness Update:  It appears Mr. Hannity will attempt to host an event with Donald Trump on Saturday morning.

Sean Hannity and 2016 GOP front-runner Donald Trump will be in Phoenix, AZ for an exclusive event and you can be a part of it!

TAPING STARTS AT 9AM MST -- PLEASE ARRIVE EARLY-- DOORS OPEN AT 6AM MST.
Seating will be based on a first come, first served basis and capped at 1300.
SPREAD THE WORD! PLEASE SHARE THIS EVENT ON FACEBOOK AND TWITTER.

Saturday, March 19, 2016 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM (MST) Phoenix Convention Center - South Ballroom 33 S 3rd St, Phoenix, AZ 85004
We'll have to see if the protesters get up early enough to mount another "offensive assault" on free speech.  Either way, this little "parlay" should be interesting since Hannity appears to be the last man standing* among the Fox folks to have a "favorability" rating with all of the candidates.

* rhetoric metaphor purposely provided for Ms. Kelly
