Above the Law? Hillary Clinton Wipes Server Clean

Apparently, it's up to Hillary Clinton to arbitrarily decide what is "public information" and what is personal.  Lawyers for the former Secretary of State informed the Select Committee on Benghazi that her "private server" has been wiped clean.  Via Politico:

Clinton was under a subpoena order from the Select Committee on Benghazi for all documents related to the 2012 attacks on the American compound there. But David Kendall, an attorney for Clinton, said the 900 pages of emails previously provided to the panel cover its request…
Kendall also informed the committee that Clinton’s emails from her time at the State Department have been permanently erased…
“There is no basis to support the proposed third-party review of the server that hosted the hdr22@clintonemail.com account,” Kendall wrote. “To avoid prolonging a discussion that would be academic, I have confirmed with the secretary’s IT support that no emails…..for the time period January 21, 2009 through February 1, 2013 reside on the server or on any back-up systems associated with the server.”

The former First Lady and Secretary of State is now free to pursue her ambitions to become the President of the United States with absolutely no information on what transpired during the Benghazi disaster, or, for that matter, her complete tenure during her four years of service at State.

So, there you have it.  Under the "traditions of full transparency" with this administration, very little public information really belongs to the public.  And, there's not a damn thing that can be done about it.  Hillary's "let them eat cake" attitude, (along with the media's "this is no big deal", move along narrative), should leave a nasty taste in the mouths of the American electorate.  Had this egregious ploy taken place by a Republican official, the calls for crucifixion and expulsion from the public arena would be swift and as daunting as the missing 18 minutes of the Nixon tapes.  Much like the Lois Lerner hard-drive crash, (that would have provided evidence of the IRS targeting Conservative and Tea Party groups), it appears Hillary was quite prepared to erase any evidence of wrong doing or misappropriation of public information.

It's no wonder that Hillary is now making herself "willingly accessible" to the Gowdy committee---she can say anything, and there's no longer any evidence to prove she's lying or obstructing the panel.  None!

Thanks Mrs. Clinton.  I guess the last laugh is on all of us.
