TRY AS THEY MIGHT, DEMOCRATS & THE MEDIA STILL CAN'T CREATE A "TRUMP'S KATRINA"

Hurricanes hit Texas, Louisiana, and Florida.  Federal response is overwhelming as the local and state governments are coordinated long before the storms hit the shorelines.  There’s also overwhelming support from THE LOCAL PEOPLE & surrounding communities, helping the stricken get the much needed resources for rescues, post-storm evacuations saving thousands of lives.

Under the Democrats, (Rahm Emanuel), mantra: “You never let a serious crisis go to waste”, the liberal left and their complicit anti-Trump Media threw every storyline in the book to convince the American public that the Trump Administration had failed to provide the life-saving supplies and help to this storm-ravaged region.

Their baseless and almost libelous attempts to defile our President FAILED MISERABLY.  There would be no “Trump’s Katrina”, yet.

Hurricanes Irma and Maria hit the Caribbean islands, (U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico), physically destroying everything in their path, leaving the Democrats and the Media thinking they’ll get a second bite at the “it’s all Trump’s fault” apple.

Barely identifying the demographics and logistics of the region---islands surrounded by water---the Democrats and the Media went back to “work” to provide the false narrative that our Federal Government’s actions, [to supply life-saving assets], were, again, a total failure.  Deploying their top anchors to the region, the media began filming the devastation, and selectively interviewing inhabitants who had yet to receive help from FEMA.  Ignoring the fact that the local governments had virtually zero assets in place, (to clear roads and airports), the liberal media pounced on the opportunity to place all blame on the U.S. Federal Government, ie, Donald J. Trump.

Never mind that FEMA had pre-stationed, (before both storms), assets, supplies, and manpower---inside and outside of the impacted area---that were ready to move into the region as soon as it was safely possible.

As the ports began to pile up with the much needed life-saving supplies, (water, food, and first aid supplies), it was realized, (by most of the general public, here in the U.S., and on the island), that there was a serious short supply of truck-drivers, (less than 20%), to move the goods out of the ports and into the hands of the distribution points.  It was reported that some of those drivers who did show up, had their trucks hijacked in route, further reducing the driver participation.

Mayor of San Juan vs. President Trump

Even as the supplies began to trickle out of the ports, some one reminded the "Democrat" mayor of San Juan that Donald J. Trump has the sole responsibility to restore her island back to prosperity and deserved some much needed scrutiny on his progress.  So, she goes on TV and proclaims “we are going to see is something close to a genocide” if Trump and government agencies didn’t do more to help.  Seizing on the "genocide" quote, Democrats and the Media spread their venomous disdain for this President across the nation and the world---Genocide, Katrina and Trump.

Trump Fights Back and Finds Some Allies

President Trump, (seeing the liberal tactic for what it is), hammers back with a series of tweets, including blaming the mayor of incompetence.  Democrats and the Liberal Media are horrified that a President would challenge their best laid plans to bring him down. How dare a President insult this little lady in need?

Yet, the Governor of Puerto Rico, and another local mayor, Guaynabo’s Angel Perez come to the President's aid, claiming the Mayor of San Juan---and the Media---have it all wrong.  Via, the Daily Caller:

"My experience is different. I have been participating in different meetings at the headquarters of FEMA and our government and the help is coming in and right now my experience is different from hers. I’m receiving help from the government, we are receiving assistance from FEMA, I got people over here helping us with applications for the people that have damage in their houses. And we have here in Guaynabo, we have thousands of people that lost partially or totally their houses.

When asked about Yulín Cruz’s “genocide” comment, Perez took his criticism a step further and revealed that Yulín Cruz has been absent in many meetings with FEMA and other agencies. He said:

“I don’t know why she is saying that. What I can tell you is my experience. She is not participating in any meetings and we had a couple already with the governors and with representation of FEMA and of HUD, of these whole federal agencies that have given us help and she’s not participating in those meetings and some mayors from her political party have been participating, so I don’t know why she is saying that. My experience is very different.”

Perez also said he was looking forward to the President's visit expressing optimism and faith that Trump's presence would be "the best thing to give hope to our people.”

The actions and words of this small town mayor destroyed the Democrats and Media overnight, in their vicious attempt to create a Katrina, blowing their credibility right out of the water, swallowing them up like the Red Sea.

The Fabricated Crisis was thwarted once again by a President who fights back.  And, a mortally wounded Media slithers back under their rock, wondering how this could happen.

Sadly, they'll be back.
