MAINSTREAM MEDIA FALLACIES---SPINNING, SPLITTING HAIRS & OUTRIGHT LIES

In today's confusing world of American Journalism, searching for the truth, (or reality), can be like working through a math quiz where the instructor tells you the final answer to each question can have multiple results depending on how you interpreted the original question.  However, within the Mainstream Liberal Media, if the "journalist" tells you the answer to a certain question is final and/or indisputable, deniability is instantly ridiculed.

Case in point: Donald Trump's March 4th tweet that his campaign was wire-tapped by the Obama Administration.

But, let's digress a moment to provide some context.

On March 3rd of this year, Joel Pollak at Breitbart News wrote a story that included Mark Levin's accusation that the Obama Administration was deliberately undermining a newly elected President:

"Radio host Mark Levin used his Thursday evening show to outline the known steps taken by President Barack Obama’s administration in its last months to undermine Donald Trump’s presidential campaign and, later, his new administration.

Levin called Obama’s effort “police state” tactics, and suggested that Obama’s actions, rather than conspiracy theories about alleged Russian interference in the presidential election to help Trump, should be the target of congressional investigation.

Drawing on sources including the New York Times and the Washington Post, Levin described the case against Obama so far, based on what is already publicly known. The following is an expanded version of that case, including events that Levin did not mention specifically but are important to the overall timeline."  (please take a moment to go to this link and read the timeline provided by Pollak)

This is when the Mainstream Media went into their propaganda mode, insisting none of this happened, because.........wait for it.........."questionable sources":

Bloomberg Claims Breitbart Did Not Cite Independent Sources  Bloomberg's problem?  Levin did indeed cite independent and credible sources, including the New York Times and the Washington Post, (as the link above contends).

Much of the rest of the Mainstream Media wrote numerous "stories" over the following days and weeks, insisting Trump was delusional and no one was WIRE-TAPPED.  In fact, the Liberal Media was so adamant in debunking the story, the casual reader would have thought ObamaCare was repealed.

Fast-forwarding to just a few days ago, this revelation jumped into the headlines of CNN:

Exclusive: US government wiretapped former Trump campaign chairman

Breitbart, The Daily Caller, and The Gateway Pundit all followed up on this CNN "exclusive" report.

Yet, in the spirit of today's Journalism, CNN and the rest of the liberal media began again in earnest to spin the wire-tap revelation by redefining the definition of "is".  The denials came fast and furious. In the spirit of Whoopie's "it wasn't rape, rape", the media is insisting this was not wire-tapping, it was surveillance---perfectly legal, and distinctly different.

Paul Manafort Responds:

“If true, it is a felony to reveal the existence of a FISA warrant, regardless of the fact that no charges ever emerged,” Jason Maloni said in an emailed statement on Tuesday.

“The U.S Department of Justice’s Inspector General should immediately conduct an investigation into these leaks and to examine the motivations behind a previous Administration’s effort to surveil a political opponent. Mr. Manafort requests that the Department of Justice release any intercepts involving him and any non-Americans so interested parties can come to the same conclusion as the DOJ — there is nothing there.”

Surveillance, wire-tapping?  Despite the liberal media's denial of what transpired throughout the Trump Campaign, (since their Russian-Collusion propaganda campaign has been all but debunked), the Obama Administration is knee-deep in the obstruction of an American Presidential Election.

How the Lamestream Media spins this one will be entertaining to say the least as the search for credible sources becomes a "straining proposition".

Stand by.............
