Above the Law? Hillary Clinton Wipes Server Clean

Apparently, it's up to Hillary Clinton to arbitrarily decide what is "public information" and what is personal.  Lawyers for the former Secretary of State informed the Select Committee on Benghazi that her "private server" has been wiped clean.  Via Politico:

Clinton was under a subpoena order from the Select Committee on Benghazi for all documents related to the 2012 attacks on the American compound there. But David Kendall, an attorney for Clinton, said the 900 pages of emails previously provided to the panel cover its request…
Kendall also informed the committee that Clinton’s emails from her time at the State Department have been permanently erased…
“There is no basis to support the proposed third-party review of the server that hosted the hdr22@clintonemail.com account,” Kendall wrote. “To avoid prolonging a discussion that would be academic, I have confirmed with the secretary’s IT support that no emails…..for the time period January 21, 2009 through February 1, 2013 reside on the server or on any back-up systems associated with the server.”

The former First Lady and Secretary of State is now free to pursue her ambitions to become the President of the United States with absolutely no information on what transpired during the Benghazi disaster, or, for that matter, her complete tenure during her four years of service at State.

So, there you have it.  Under the "traditions of full transparency" with this administration, very little public information really belongs to the public.  And, there's not a damn thing that can be done about it.  Hillary's "let them eat cake" attitude, (along with the media's "this is no big deal", move along narrative), should leave a nasty taste in the mouths of the American electorate.  Had this egregious ploy taken place by a Republican official, the calls for crucifixion and expulsion from the public arena would be swift and as daunting as the missing 18 minutes of the Nixon tapes.  Much like the Lois Lerner hard-drive crash, (that would have provided evidence of the IRS targeting Conservative and Tea Party groups), it appears Hillary was quite prepared to erase any evidence of wrong doing or misappropriation of public information.

It's no wonder that Hillary is now making herself "willingly accessible" to the Gowdy committee---she can say anything, and there's no longer any evidence to prove she's lying or obstructing the panel.  None!

Thanks Mrs. Clinton.  I guess the last laugh is on all of us.

Obama's Latest Open Immigration Policy: Bring in Hundreds of Thousands of Guest Workers

Mr. Unilateral Action Obama is at it again.  This time, however, he's not concerned with importing cheap labor from our southern borders or liberating 4-5 million illegal immigrants already here.  On Monday, Obama announced he's going to "reform" the global guest worker program by speeding up the process, importing hundreds of thousands foreign workers---who will most likely replace American workers at a much cheaper price.  Via the Daily Caller:

“My administration is going to reform the L-1B visa category, which allows corporations to temporarily move workers from a foreign office to a U.S. office in a faster, simpler way,” he said in a speech Monday to a global investors summit at the Gaylord National Convention Center in Maryland. ”And this could benefit hundreds of thousands of nonimmigrant workers and their employers.”

What Obama doesn't mention is that American businesses can pay these "guest workers", (who can remain here for up to seven years), wages as low as the state's minimum wage.  While Mr. Obama claims his "reform" will incentivize companies to invest in the United States, businesses are already replacing American workers for cheap foreign labor, offering virtually no protections for the American worker:

“There are no protections at all for American workers, or for the L-1B workers themselves,” Ron Hira, a professor at Rochester Institute of Technology who is an expert in offshore outsourcing and industrial policy, told The Daily Caller News Foundation. A typical IT worker in India might make $5,000 a year, so a business could replace an American worker with that foreign worker and make a huge profit.
“Expanding the L-1B program will have exactly the opposite effect than the one President Obama claims,” he said. “Instead of attracting and creating jobs for Americans through foreign direct investment, his proposal will speed up the offshoring and destruction of good middle class jobs.”
So much for putting American workers first.  Under his current plan, (again, without so much as a notice to Congress), Mr. fast and loose with his pen and phone is intending to further devastate the American worker.  And once again, his motives are leaving many of us scratching our heads.  It certainly looks like another case of "if you like your American worker, you can keep him/her"---a familiar narrative of this administration.

Why is YOUR GOVERNMENT Hiding Information That Belongs to YOU!

In the wake of the Hillary Clinton email scandal---where a Secretary of State made the decision to conduct 100% of State Department business on a private email server during all four years of her "service"---many concerned citizens are wondering if this administration has not crossed the line on what information is available to the public and what is censored under nefarious and contemptible exercises by your government and their administrators.

Last Thursday, (03-19-15), the United States Chamber of Commerce pointed out how egregious this administration has become when it comes to extracting government information that should specifically belong to the public:

"When President Obama came into office, he ordered Executive Branch agencies to “adopt a presumption in favor of disclosure.” A few years later, he bragged that his administration was “the most transparent administration in history.”

Now, he might want to step back from that with the Associated Press concluding that his administration “set a record again for censoring government files or outright denying access to them last year under the U.S. Freedom of Information Act.”

The government took longer to turn over files when it provided any, said more regularly that it couldn't find documents and refused a record number of times to turn over files quickly that might be especially newsworthy."
In this Chamber of Commerce report, they provide a perfect example of how and what this administration considers "transparency" on materials requested from the White House Council on Environmental Quality, (CEQ), as far back as 2010:

Now, mind you, this is information from a panel that works on climate change, not top secret classified material on how to prevent Iran from creating a nuclear weapon, or Chelsea Clinton's wedding plans.  The Chamber of Commerce wonders if there might be a shortage of sharpies after their redaction's are preformed on this single document.

In another example of this administration's "delay tactics", the Competitive Enterprise Institute, (CEI), put in a request for information on EPA chief Lisa Jackson's "official" government emails, and discovered she has an alias email account under the name of Richard Windsor.  The story, via the Daily Caller is another unfolding example of an administration with plenty to hide:

"In 2012, CEI requested records regarding Jackson’s alias email account under the name “Richard Windsor” — an address she used to communicate with government officials and green groups while avoiding federal transparency laws. CEI sued and eventually got 3,000 “Richard Windsor” emails from EPA, but that was only the tip of the iceberg.  The EPA says there are about 120,000 records related to CEI’s Freedom of Information Act request, but the agency claims it can only process about 100 records per month — meaning CEI’s FOIA request will be fully processed in about 100 years.
“We have shown this administration using whatever tactics it can – even violating the law – to hide what is going on in our federal agencies,” said CEI senior fellow and attorney Chris Horner in a statement, “whether it’s Hillary Clinton’s personal email account, Lisa Jackson working with lobbyists on her own private account, utilizing text messages then destroying them, or this slow-rolling production of Richard Windsor emails for a century.” "
And, what's got the CEI folks even further riled is the EPA's "selective" mode on who receives a waiver on information request:

"What rankles CEI most about the EPA’s slow record processing pace is that the agency has already been criticized in the past for stonewalling FOIA requests from conservative groups and states critical of agency rules.
In 2013, CEI obtained documents showing that since January 2012, the agency granted fee waivers for 92 percent of FOIA requests from major environmental groups all while rejecting or ignoring 81 percent of fee-waiver requests from conservative groups."
Apparently, the EPA is following the Lois Lerner guidelines on how to process and provide "partisan information"---another fine example of Mr. Obama's transparent government. Again, this [information] is the property of the public, and they have every right to expect full disclosure in a timely fashion.  Further, since our Department of Justice, (under AG Eric Holder or probable incoming AG, Loretta Lynch), has no interest in compelling OUR government institutions to provide the public with OUR DOCUMENTS, these egregious practices will continue unabated---with an "in your face" attitude.

Meanwhile, most the media will continue to stand by this administration's blatant, (and most likely illegal), practices and think Hillary's contempt for being transparent is no big deal, or, it's all a right wing conspiracy by a bunch of racist---the ultimate silencing tool of the left.

A Short Conversation with a Liberal Who Employs the Word Hate

I thought Republicans hated Eric Holder above all else, but if they refuse to confirm Lynch, that’s who they end up with

Don't you liberals get tired of employing the word "HATE" into every argument? You do know it diminishes your intelligence.

Nope, hate is exclusive to you right wing Christians.

There's a big difference between hating the person and hating the actions, but I'm sure you wouldn't understand this.

btw, it's easy to love someone, anyone.....but hate has to be taught. It's a discipline I don't subscribe to.

it's not always easy especially if the person hates you or does bad to you.

I'd like to think it's the person that hates, who has the bigger problem---a consuming emotion that eats the soul.

Hate is the fuel of the Right Wing GOP and Christians, in America.

No it is not. If you truly believe this, I feel sorry for what ever compassion you may have possessed and now lost.

By your own fruition BJ, you're allowing yourself to be consumed in hate. Perhaps you should reexamine your priorities.

Jeez get a life. Blocked.

There really is little hope for those so consumed in their own hate. As a Christian, I shall pray for them.

Irony: Bibi stands up while the House leaders surrender

A little less than four weeks ago, Hugh Hewitt interviewed Steve Scalise, House Republican Whip.  Hewitt repeatedly asked Scalise whether the House would hold fast or cave on DHS funding.  The Clinton-esque responses would have made for good comedy had there not been the overwhelming sense that of course the House would cave:

HH:  I was looking for the declaration, we will not blink. Is that fair to say that the House Republicans are not going to blink on this?...
SS:  We’re not blinking.
 (my emphases)

Of course, they weren't blinking on Feb. 9.  Apparently, however, they will not only blink but run and hide sometime this week, not long after Prime Minister Netanyahu stands up before the world, demonstrating what it is to be someone of conviction in these threatening times.

The irony of Boehner inviting a man who is unafraid, who refuses to "cave" to this WH, who is more than willing to stand up and fight for the survival of his country, all the while plotting the surrender of the Republican party and our nation is more than I can take.

I've already called my own Congressman and Rep. Walden's office, since he is head of the NRCC.  In a polite and resigned tone, I informed both offices that if Boehner puts a clean DHS bill up for a vote, they can stop sending me all their requests for money.

Hugh Hewitt can be a devastating interviewer.  It's my understanding that he will be part of the CNN panel for a September Republican presidential candidate debate.  Various media apparently are helping him identify worthwhile questions.

Now, I imagine by September, given the generous assist from Boehner and McConnell, we'll be well on our way to the complete dissolution of our southern border.  Worse, Republican leaders will still be lying to us.  I'm sure someone might be curious though to hear candidates answer this question: How do all those candidates intend to replace the millions of conservative votes that Boehner and McConnell have lost, through their deceit, timidity, and absolute incompetence?

We entrusted the future of our collapsing country to inarticulate, visionless, middle-management technocrats like Boehner and McConnell.  And now we are left to wonder how to live something resembling a decent and free life, while fools like Scalise, Boehner, McConnell stand by and and watch, and in some cases actively help, someone who has no love for this country ruin what little of America there is left to us.

Matt Drudge Joins the Liberal Media Game

Matt Drudge is playing the liberal media reporting game, plain and simple.  In less than a few weeks, the liberal media has had to make major corrections while attempting to belittle Conservative Presidential front-runner Scott Walker.

The story that “claimed” Scott Walker’s budget proposal to delete the requirement that universities report sexual assault cases turned out to be total horse manure.  Published in the Daily Beast, (who picked it up from a feminist blog Jezebel), and then reposted by USA Today has been “corrected and retracted“.

Just a week earlier, the grand old New York Times had to make a serious correction following their report that Walker caused tons of teacher layoffs with his budget cuts in 2010.  What the lazy writer and the editors failed to find out was that Walker didn’t become the Governor until the following year.  Whoops!

And, of course the story/fabrication got syndicated nationally and spread throughout the internet.  In order for the NY Slimes to maintain any credibility, they just simply edited out the FALSE FACTS, and left the rest of the story intact.

Both of these bogus stories, (above), have been chronicled at the website Bizpack Review.

Any one see a pattern here?  (This was not a rhetorical question)

The latest and greatest liberal media ploy is to 1) first and foremost, get the story into publication---fact or fiction.  And 2), deal with the retractions or corrections at a later date, long after the bull crap has spread across the fruited plains and through the internet.

Drudge’s main headline, (which is still up right now in all caps), PAPER: OBAMA THREATENED TO SHOOT DOWN ISRAELI JETS, will certainly be linked and repeated over the entire internet, and yes, the Conservative blogs and publications, and here at Mediaite, who makes the obvious claim:

Conservative Blogs Explode over ‘Report’ Obama Threatened to Shoot Down Israeli Planes

When it drops off the headlines, Drudge will post a “our sources might not be as credible as we thought”, but the damage is already done.  And, judging from the comments at Mediaite, it’s the liberal heads that are “exploding” over this questionable story, much more than the conservatives.

See how it works?  Two can play this game.  It is sad that Drudge may have had to crawl into the gutter---with the liberal media---to make this point.  The Obama administration will never admit they really intended to shoot down Israeli planes, (even if Mika's dad* suggested it), but, the political ramifications are laid on the table as Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addresses Congress on Tuesday morning.

The Liberal Media Game has now become:  Sources? We don't need no stinking sources.  Or, the sources don't have to be credible, as long as the story gets out there.  In this case, Matt Drudge has clearly made his point.  And the liberal media will have to simply live with their new found yellow journalism---tactics unbecoming in today's Media.

It's only going to get uglier.
